Myrtle Productions Terms & Conditions of Business

NONE OF OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER

MAKING A PURCHASE

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. NOTE: Your order can be placed and paid for on our website, or you are welcome to place your order online and then telephone us with the 6 digit order number along with your card payment.

We accept Visa, Mastercard credit and debit card payments.
You may send your credit card information via phone, fax,or over the Internet.

TAX CHARGES

You need to either create a user account, or enter your address at checkout, before you will be able to see the shipping options relevant to your Country.

Our VAT number is: GB 806084834 If you are in the European Union you need to pay "VAT at Source" (this is listed as VAT on our website).

We are a UK based retailer and any VAT due must be paid, if you are a business we advise you to reclaim the VAT paid from your local VAT office.

We do not remove VAT from European business orders as we have been informed by out VAT office that we would have to be VAT registered in each European country we send business orders too, due to different VAT thresholds in various European countries. Because we are an UK online retailer (not Trade/Wholesale) we charge VAT and advise European businesses to reclaim this from their local VAT office if they wish to order.

This means that you should not have to pay any "sales tax" when the items enter your Country.

If your Country has "personal import duty" then you may have to pay for this, and this is your responsibility, Import Duty varies from Country to Country, if you are unsure, please consult your local Government Importation Office

We cannot send items to different country to the credit card billing address.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

All of the products listed on the website are hand made by Myrtle Productions by request of an order, therefore an order may take up to 21 days from point of sale to be dispatched.
Myrtle Productions shipping charges are calculated using mainly Royal Mail or Parcel Force for the cheapest possible delivery charge for the customers benefit, optional delivery insurance is available at the customers request and at the customers expense.

In the event that any of our goods are listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, we shall have the right to refuse to accept any order from you or to cancel any order received from you based on the incorrect price whether or not the order has been accepted. In either event we reiterate that an order will only be accepted by us as a legally binding contract once the goods ordered by you have been dispatched to you by us.

Cancelling an Order

Cancelling an Order, you have the right to cancel the contract for your purchase within 7 working days from point of sale. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract, but a 15 percent cancellation fee will apply.
Please note You cannot cancel your contract if the ordered goods have already been dispatched or received.

To cancel a contract, please inform us immediately by email or by phone.

Returns policy

Myrtle productions does not except any responsibility for loss or damage after the dispatch of the items, however we are more than happy to repair or replace the item if it is returned.
The customer is responsible for both the return and re-dispatch delivery costs.

Under no circumstances can a full refund be given.

Remittance Terms

All goods remain the property of Myrtle productions until paid for.

Invalidity

If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

Governing Law

This contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

Third Party Rights

Except for our affiliates, directors, employees or representatives, a person who is not a party to this agreement has no right under the UK Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available apart from that Act.
