Myrtle produces burr walnut, elm and maple replacement wood veneer kits for luxury cars and have over 15 years of experience in the manufacture of the highest quality wood interiors for Jaguar, and Daimler cars, including XJS Ski slope gearshift surrounds, XJ6, XJ40, XJ12 and XK8 replacement dashboards, fascias and centre console panels.

We also manufacture a range of wood replacement parts and steering wheels for Bentley and Rolls Royce cars as well as gear knobs and wood panels for such models as the Silver Spirit, Spur, Seraph, Shadow, Mulsanne, Turbo, T1 and T2. All items are beautifully finished in high-gloss polyester lacquer and hand polished to perfection.

Growing demand has lead to us offering a steering wheel and wood veneer restoration service, not only for classic, vintage and veteran cars but also for commercial vehicles such as vans, tractors, buses and lorries.

The company is well-known to Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Jaguar owners for wood steering wheels and wood veneer interior kits and restoration services, and have offered a steering wheel restoration service to owners of these vehicles for some time. In response to an increasing number of requests for steering wheel restoration from owners of other types of vehicle, they are now offering this steering wheel restoration service more widely.

Supplying veneered dashboards, wood rim steering wheels, walnut steering wheels, elm steering wheels, walnut or elm gearknobs, walnut or elm ski slopes all standard equipment items made as per Jaguar original specifications.

We also manufacture some veneered panels that are not standard equipment to compliment the existing such as a veneered fascia panel that replaces the original black plastic fascia and should in our opinion have been fitted as standard!

We also produce ski slopes / gearshift surrounds for earlier models that did not have them fitted as standard (pre HE).

When veneering items we can make complete matched sets or individual items, our aim is to ensure they match the existing panels within the car or in the case of a new set are made with the same piece of veneer. Steering wheels are also available for all XK and XJ models these are also designed to compliment the existing dashboard.

We can manufacture lots of obsolete original Jaguar and Rolls Royce wood trim items; such as picnic tables for Rolls Royce and Bentley Spirit, Shadow, Spur etc. Jaguar XJ6 dashboards another obsolete item, no longer obtainable from Jaguar.

We use the finest quality burr Elm and Walnut veneers, similar to those used in the manufacture of the original models. As well as veneering on wood we veneer on steel and plastic, made using modern laser cutting techniques to ensure precision and therefore a perfect fit. All items are hand polished and finished with a high gloss polyester lacquer. The end result is a panel that could have come out of the Jaguar or Rolls Royce factory.

We supply complete headlining kits for all Jaguar cars and Daimler variants from 1969 onwards. You can buy a brand new covered board or one of our DIY kits.

Our panels are made by us in the U.K. from GRP (glass reinforced plastic) and individually covered by us in the original foam back nylon cloth. Although not visible in the photographs all our boards have the necessary cut outs for alarm sensors, sun visors, sun visor retaining clips, interior mirrors etc., you only need to pierce the cloth to reveal the cut out and ensure a flush fit.

There is no drilling or trimming required.  All boards come with sufficient cloth to cover surrounding finishers (windscreen uprights etc).  Should you require any further cloth we sell it by the metre.
